1. Acceptance
By using the KBA Institute Membership Portal, you agree to these Terms.
2. Scope of Service
The portal supports membership registration, review, invoicing, payment, certificate issuance, and renewal management for individual and sponsored members.
3. Eligibility and Account Security
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for account credentials and activity under your account.
- We may suspend access for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
4. Membership Decisions
- Applications are reviewed under institute criteria.
- Decisions may include approval, request for more information, rejection, or revocation.
- Appeals are available within the configured appeal window where applicable.
5. Payments and Billing
- Fees are invoiced according to selected membership pathway and policy.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers (including Paystack channels where enabled).
- We do not store full card details.
- Receipts and invoice history are available in the portal.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the portal to submit fraudulent documents, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized system access.
7. Data and Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and Changes
Service availability may vary due to maintenance or third-party dependencies. We may update features, policies, and workflows as needed.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, or non-compliance with institute policy.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis and indirect damages are excluded.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
